Pawzy was built with one goal in mind: to help you focus without compromising your digital privacy. We believe that your productivity habits and your desktop environment are personal, and they should stay that way.
Pawzy does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We don't have accounts, we don't track your focus sessions, and we certainly don't sell your data. We have no way of knowing who you are or how you use the app.
Everything Pawzy does happens entirely on your local machine. Your timer settings, companion preferences, and focus history (if any) are stored locally in your application's configuration folder. This data never leaves your computer.
The Pawzy application contains zero tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or "phone home" telemetry. It works 100% offline. The only time Pawzy uses the internet is when you manually check for updates or click a link to our GitHub repository.
Our landing page uses Formspree for email subscriptions and contact forms. When you provide your email address to download Pawzy or send us a message, that data is handled by Formspree according to their privacy policy and is used solely to communicate with you about Pawzy.
Because Pawzy is open source, you (or anyone with coding knowledge) can inspect our source code on GitHub to verify these claims. We believe in total transparency.
